PG&E has partnered with 211s to provide emergency preparedness support for Access & Functional Needs (AFN) customers when weather and wildfire risk prompts the company to initiate a Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS). AFN populations include those with physical, developmental or intellectual disabilities, chronic conditions or injuries, limited English proficiency, older adults, children, pregnant women and low income, homeless, and/or transportation disadvantaged individuals.
PSPS Care Coordination helps create a safety plan by providing information about what to do before, during, and after a power outage.
Before an event, a PSPS Care Coordinator can help with:

Medical Baseline Program Enrollment
Disability Disaster Access & Resource (DDAR) Program Application
