Provides administrative oversite for State Responsibility Lands in Plumas County. Works in cooperation with local and federal agencies. Services include (and are not limited to):

• Structural fire suppression
• Wildland fire suppression
• Response to hazardous materials incidents
• Search and rescue
• Water rescue
• Vehicle extrication
• Basic life support medical services
• Campfire permits
• Educational materials.

Residents who wish to burn yard debris must follow any requirements for burn permits and burn restrictions in their area. For burning in Plumas County, one can call the Northern Sierra Air Quality Management District. Or visit their website (listed below next to Burn Days).
