Description
|
Provides support and social groups for people with disabilities. All groups are available in-person or via zoom. Call to sign up.
Groups include: - General Support Group: Meets at DAC's Redding office. Meets 3rd Tuesday each month at 2pm.
- Mobility Challenged Support Group: Welcomes individuals with paraplegia. Attendees share about unique challenges and offer strategies on how to overcome them. Meets 1st and 3rd Wednesdays each month at 10am.
- Rainbow Group: For the LGBQ+ population who also have a disability, come together and support each other. Meets 2nd and 4th Wednesday at 10am.
- Vision support Group: For anyone struggling with their vision. Meets 3rd Wedensday each month at 2pm.
