Investigates allegations of abuse and neglect for children under the age of 18. Aims to keep children in their homes when it is safe. Provides children with a safe environment when they are at risk. Provides ongoing case management and referrals to services when continued intervention is necessary. Provides 24-hour response as necessary to emergency situations of abuse or neglect.

Abuse can include physical abuse, mental/emotional abuse, sexual abuse, neglect and self-neglect. If one suspects child abuse or neglect, call CPS at the number listed below. Mandated reporters can fill out a Suspected Child Abuse Report online.
