Works to protect life, property, and natural resources in Tehama County. Works in cooperation with the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection. Services include (and are not limited to): - Structural fire suppression
- Wildland fire suppression
- Response to hazardous materials incidents
- Search and rescue
- Water rescue
- Vehicle extrication
- Basic life support medical services
- Campfire permits
- Educational materials.
Note: To report a suspected arson caused fire, call the CAL FIRE Arson Hotline.
Residents who wish to burn yard debris must follow any requirements for burn permits and burn restrictions in their area. Apply for burn permits online. The Air Pollution Control District provides permissive burn day information.
