Description
Provides support and referrals to expecting moms (at least 28 weeks pregnant) and new parents with a child three months of age or younger in Shasta County. Parents and caregivers work one-on-one with a Family Support Specialist in their home and receive services tailored to meet each family's individual needs. 

Services may include:
  • Pregnancy/Parent education
  • Family support 
  • Setting and reaching goals
  • Establishing healthy new habits
  • Referrals to community events and resources such as baby items

Eligibility: Open to expecting moms (at least 28 weeks pregnant) and parents/caregivers with a child three months of age or younger; no income or age requirements; must NOT qualify for the Nurse-Family Partnership Program (which is for first-time moms with low income, less than 28 weeks pregnant)
