Provides program for pregnant and parenting teens, including teen fathers. Offers free and voluntary case management. Helps participants:
  • Stay in school
  • Get job training
  • Define goals
  • Take care of self and baby
  • Prepare for labor and delivery
  • Help with problem-solving skills
  • Become informed about community resources
Also helps one receive:
  • Medical care during and after pregnancy
  • Childbirth education
  • Financial help
  • Vocational counseling
  • Child care
  • Car seats
  • Counseling (school, family, adoption, nutrition, or substance abuse)

Eligibility: Open to females and males ages 22 and under who have a child or are expecting, and residents of Shasta or Butte County
-Must enroll before 22nd birthday
Languages: If ASL translation services are requested, they will find a way to accommodate, American Sign Language, Spanish, English
