Helps people with disabilities (including seniors) achieve and maintain independence. Provides support services that help remove barriers (physical, emotional, societal, etc.). Increases opportunities for participation in one's community. Supports consumers’ rights to live independently.

  • Information & referral
  • Assistive Technology information and expense assistance
  • Peer advising
  • Traumatic Brain Injury Program (email Landa@actionctr.org, or call DAC)
  • Variety of books on tape and CDs for loan
  • Disability-related books for loan
  • Volunteer opportunities
  • Housing strategies:
    • Rental information, resources, and search support. No financial help.
Services available by appointment only in Yreka, Mt. Shasta and Red Bluff.
