Program: Center for Mind-Body Medicine - Self-Care Skills Group


Alternate name: Hill Country Health and Wellness Center

Provides free self-care technique program to anyone who has experienced personal trauma in a small group setting and one on one or group coaching in resilience and equity. Each group lasts eight weeks. Providing services remotely via video conference. Groups are available in English and Spanish.

Services include:
  • Evidence-based techniques as tools to improve resilience (guided imagery, movement, meditation & drawing)
  • Self-care and stress management 
  • Sharing in a safe, confidential small-group setting
  • Explore the connection between chronic stress, trauma and emotional/physical health
  • How to incorporate mindfulness into your daily routine
  • Learn how to better manage stress.
Also provides free 1-4 hour workshops as an introduction to what to expect in the group. Visit website for details.
