Description
Provides volunteer opportunities for adults ages 55 and up. Opportunities include:
  • Mentoring or tutoring children
  • Sharing legal or financial expertise
  • Helping seniors prepare for natural disasters
  • Assisting survivors of natural disasters
  • Cleaning up the environment
  • Leading fundraising efforts
  • Mobilizing other volunteers
Foster Grandparents & Senior Companions programs offer seniors on a limited income an opportunity to receive a small stipend for each hour of service and mileage reimbursement by assisting children or other older adults.
