Description
Provides temporary shelter, basic necessities, and support services for those experiencing homelessness. Open to adults age 18 and older. Does not require an application. Potential guests may arrive at the building to determine eligibility and space available. Screens all new guests for supportive services.
Please note:
Shelter doors open at 6 pm, and intake is open 6-7:30 pm, seven days per week.
Individuals may access shelter services without having to be in programs or services.
Well-behaved pets are welcome.
Offers a locked and secured area for small amount of personal items
Entry will not be denied based on the following:
Substance use, mental health conditions, criminal history, gender identity, sexual orientation, or any other characteristic protected by law.
Offers laundry and shower facilities.
Note: Guests do not have to be from Siskiyou county, but the shelter is typically full. If one wants to call ahead, they typically will know at around 7pm if there is availability that night.
For those experiencing or at risk of homelessness, provides assistance with housing services. Uses the Coordinated Entry System (CES) and Homeless Management Information System (HMIS). Connects clients to a variety of housing assistance services.
Clothing donations are welcome.
