Description
AMI Housing, Inc (AMIH) provides housing, employment, and life skills programs to residents of Nevada County and Placer County who otherwise might be homeless. Nevada County residents must be clients of Turning Point. AMIH offers assistance in multiple languages through a Language Line service.
All AMI programs require:
- Proof of county residency for 14 days before being eligible for funding
- Current income that can support housing costs going forward after any funding assistance from AMIH
AMIH and 211 offer assistance in multiple languages through a Language Line service.
Call 2-1-1 or 833-342-5211 for information about, and eligibility screening for, the following programs.
- Homelessness Prevention - For people who are at risk of losing their current housing.
- Rapid Rehousing - For people who are currently unhoused. Coordinated Entry intake required.
- Transition Age Youth - For Transition Age Youth (TAY) ages 18-24 in PLACER COUNTY. Help with life skills and finding housing.
