Description
Investigates allegations of abuse and neglect of older adults and adults with disabilities. Provides 24-hour response as necessary to emergency situations of abuse or neglect. Offers referrals to a variety of services designed to ensure these adults' ongoing safety and well-being.

Abuse can include physical abuse, neglect and self-neglect, mental suffering, and financial abuse. If one suspects elder or dependent adult abuse, call APS or fill out a Report of Suspected Abuse.
