Provides temporary cash aid to eligible adults with no children. Serves those who do not qualify for other public assistance. General Relief is a loan that must be repaid. Provides:

  • Three months of assistance to eligible, employable adults
  • Longer-term assistance to eligible adults who have a disability:
    • Temporary disability
    • Long-term disability and awaiting Supplemental Security Income (SSA) approval.
