Description
An “opt-in” program where vulnerable customers can self-identify so they receive additional communications and advance notice during extended outages or de-energization events. Anyone who believes they are vulnerable in some way may elect to opt into the program. 

Please note: Any customer enrolled in the MED Rate is automatically included on the Vulnerable Population program.

Disabilities Access: Fully accessible to individuals using mobility aids. Designated, accessible parking spaces. Lobby at SMUD can assist customers with disability where they can sit down instead of standing up while being helped by a representative.
