Description
Adult Protective Services (APS) provides intervention services to safeguard the well-being of elders and dependent adults who are experiencing or at risk of abuse, neglect, self-neglect, or financial exploitation.
Home Safe is a homelessness prevention program available to eligible APS clients who are either at imminent risk of homelessness or have recently become homeless due to abuse, neglect, self-neglect, or financial exploitation.
Home Safe housing-related support may include:
- Rental assistance, including back rent or security deposits
- Utility assistance
- Conflict mediation with landlords
- Public systems navigation
- Legal services and eviction protection
- Heavy cleaning

The program is operational through June 30, 2026, or until funds are exhausted.
