Description

Provides support to pregnant and parenting families with children three months or younger. Parents and caregivers work with Specialist in their home. Tailored services to meet each family's individual needs. Serves Shasta County residents. Services may include:

  • Pregnancy/Parent education

  • Family support

  • Setting and reaching goals

  • Healthy new habits

  • Referrals to community events and resources.

    • Includes prenatal care, baby items, and car seats.

Program Delivery
Eligibility: -Open to expecting moms and parents/caregivers with a child three months of age or younger
-No income or age requirements
-Must NOT qualify for the Nurse-Family Partnership Program (which is for first-time moms with low income)
Languages: Translation services available for most languages, American Sign Language, Hmong, Spanish, English
