Description

Provides support and social groups for people with disabilities. All groups are available in-person or via zoom. Call to sign up.

Groups include:

  • General Support Group: Meets at DAC's Redding office. Meets 3rd Tuesday each month at 2pm.
  • Mobility Challenged Support Group: Welcomes individuals with paraplegia. Attendees share about unique challenges and offer strategies on how to overcome them. Meets 1st and 3rd Wednesdays each month at 10am.
  • Rainbow Group: For the LGBQ+ population who also have a disability, come together and support each other. Meets 2nd and 4th Wednesday at 10am.
  • Vision support Group: For anyone struggling with their vision. Meets 3rd Wedensday each month at 2pm.

  • Book Club (online)
  • North State Therapy Choir (online): Welcomes individuals with Parkinsons. Based in Chico, available on Zoom. Visit on Facebook, or email [email protected].
