The Nevada County Historical Society operates three historical museums and also an historical research library. Their mission is to celebrate and preserve the history of Nevada County. We accomplish this objective by preserving artifacts in our museums and making our archives and photos available to the public in our Searls Library located in our History Center in Nevada City.
