 Description

Provides three to six months of housing in rental units for individuals and families moving from homelessness to more permanent housing solutions. Intense case management and other supportive services are provided to assist in a successful transition to long-term stable housing.

Supportive services include:

  • Life skills classes
  • On-site therapists
  • Parenting classes
  • Credit counseling
  • Housing assistance
  • Relapse prevention
  • Money management
  • Employment assistance
  • Intensive case management
  • Transportation to and from work
  • Enrichment programs for their children.

Program Delivery
Eligibility: All potential residents must be:

-Ventura County residents

-Currently homeless or at risk of homelessness in the next 14 days.

-Single adults or families with children (under the age of 18). Couples without minor can apply as separate individuals.

-Willing and able to look for employment

-Clean from drug or alcohol use

-Not a sex offender

-Willing to participate in meeting personal goals set jointly by client and case manager

-Willing and able to assist with daily chores and able to follow program rules

-Not eligible if individual receives SSI
Languages: Spanish, English
Application Process: Call and leave a voice mail. Intake staff person will return call within 48 hours for a phone based screening.
