Provides Adopt-a-Senior program for seniors (60+) and adults with disabilities who are DHCL clients. Starting Friday, November 21st, 2025, look for the Adopt-a Senior Christmas tree at one of these locations:

• Redding - Dignity Health Connected Living, 100 Mercy Oaks Drive
• Redding - Mt. Shasta Mall, 900 Dana Drive
• Red Bluff - American Embroidery Mart, 223 Main Street
  

Select a tag on the tree to adopt a senior or adult with a disability. All information is on the tag, including where to deliver gifts.

Accepts the following donations of items without a tag:

• Gift cards or cash
• Robes, slippers
• Lap blankets
• Chocolates
• Stationery, stamps
• Large print puzzles, jigsaw puzzles
• Sweaters, coats, hats, gloves
• And anything else that would bring joy to a senior.

Cannot accept secondhand items, food, pet supplies, or heavy items.

Drop off locations for gifts and items include:

• Redding - Harry Ritchie's Jewelers, Mt. Shasta Mall
• Redding - KIXE - 603 N. Market Street
• Red bluff - American Embroidery Mart, 223 Main Street.

Last day to drop off gifts and donations is typically mid-December.
